Toshe's hometown and other parts of Macedonia

In this first photo Toshe & I are with one of the pastors from our church and a group of friends from the church. We're awaiting a big Macedonian style - home-cooked meal!
Below Toshe's half of his hometown of Veles, Macedonia is shown. The river in the valley splits the town in two...with another mountainside to the left with houses lined just as close together as this photo shows. The streets are steep and narrow...and you say hello to all the neighbors on the way up!
The photo third down also is of Toshe's hometown, taken from the main bridge crossing the river.

The bottom three photos were taken in the little village of Tre-Sonce, Macedonia. Some friends of ours have family there, and so we got a taste of the beauty and simplicity of village life. We found this lovely waterfall...and even discovered a cave to explore while on a hike led by a local there. The countryside of Macedonia can be so breath-taking!

Our honeymoon

This gives you a little feel for how and where we spent our honeymoon. We're staying in Ft. Collins, CO...but for most of our honeymoon, we were up in the mountains. As the picture tells, we really experienced a slice of Heaven in Estes Park, Colorado. Through the week we enjoyed hiking at several Rocky Mountain locations, driving and taking in the wonder of the snow-capped peaks, and canoeing on the little lake right outside of our back door! We love sharing of God's great provision of the place where we're staying....a condo owned by some family members of supporters of our; the Baker's. We're being totally spoiled as newley-weds!

Our life with the Living God

This is one of our engagement pictures. If you would like to see more you can go to Kivapix.com, and once you enter the site click on "Gallery," then "People," and then click on Toshe & Jessie. We can't wait to also share with you our wedding photos.
We enjoyed our wedding celebration in Ohio SO much! We added a few personalized details to the ceremony which made it the most special part of the whole day for us! Ask us about them, and we'd love to share! We were so pleased that so many of our closest friends, whom we don't often have a chance to see, were able to be there - many even able to celebrate with us in the rehearsal dinner and guys/girls times the night before. It was awesome to see so many people come beside us in support;...my parents of course, and Toshe's parents helped with last minute details as they were able to attend!; ladies from the Spring Hills church helping cook...some supporters hosting people...everyone involved in the actual ceremony! We were just so encouraged!
We left the day after the wedding for our honeymoon in Colorado! We decided to make it a dual purposed trip. We planned and are now living out that plan to stay in Colorado beyond our honeymoon with hopes to finish up the last leg of our support. We made that plan, and then God just took care of, and continues to take care of the details. The Lord provided through a couple of great families a place to stay, and a car to get around in. We have enjoyed getting back in touch with our faithful supporters here in Colorado. We even had our third marriage celebration with supporters here, hosted by the Johnson family! We got to teach another set of great people how to do some Macedonian dancing! What a great time!
Toshe and I are now trusting the Lord to help raise up some additional contacts in order that we can gain some additional support, and meet our overall goal. Our hope is to finish by Christmas, as we have training starting January 2nd running clear to the start of February. We would love to be able to report back to Macedonia by February 15, which is the start of the 2nd Semseter there! Please pray that this goal comes into fruition!
So this is where we're at right now! So many wonderful things going on!
