Today is the day Bennett was due to arrive! How wild that he's been here already a month and a half! If he would have come today, he still would have been a tiny baby, he weighs a little over 5 lbs.! But Praise God he keeps growing steadily...I'm sure that has something to do with your prayers...as that has been our constant prayer request. He's already a different baby than a month and a half ago....much stronger...and he uses the power of his lungs much more frequently!

Bennett stayed in the hospital for 20 days after he was born...
What an incredible thing it was for us to finally get to take him home. We've adjusted quite well to life with him. We mostly just comment to each other about how cute he is...as we cuddle him close and give him light little squeezes.

Toshe's gotten back to work pretty much full swing as of about 2 weeks ago. It was great with the circumstances that our leaders gave him so much flexibility in order to be able to be there for me and the baby.

The guy Goran that we mentioned a few weeks ago continues to grow in his new-found commitment to Christ. He and Toshe meet regularly for Bible lessons...and throw in a little tennis and preparing Goran for Macedonia's version of "Who wants to be a Millionare." Goran has applied and intends to go on our summer missions project this July...which would be a great place for him to continue to grow amidst other believers. There he will be exposed to much basic training, and opportunities for evangelism. Toshe's excited to have found a new friend in Goran, as well as a brother-in-Christ!

Because I so suddenly had to end my ministry involvment, some of my colleagues have been great about stepping in the gap and pursuing the girls that I work with. I think I'm ready to start pursuing them some myself as well again...as long as they're ok with coming over to our place in order to see each other!

We just starting taking Bennett out a little bit on little walks around the neighborhood, or to the park shortly. Friday was the first time we took him to an enclosed place with more people present...as some friends organized a fun baby shower for us! He does have a little cold now, so we're still being cautious how many people he's exposed to.

My favorite things he does...First, his crazy leg and arm movements when he's half asleep! They are everywhere!! I also like it when he's fully awake, and I get to look into those precious wandering eyes of his! He just looks about....left and right...as my gaze is fixed on him!

The Lord has been so good hasn't He?! Thanks for your love and prayers!

I keep snapping lots of photos of Bennett, so I'll be posting more soon. Keep checking on here from time to time to see what we've posted.

Written with love to you our loved ones,
Jessie (Toshe and Bennett)
